PEOPLE has learned that the couple once again have spared no expense in the food department.
Under the supervision of top chef Annie Féolde and her husband, restaurateur Giorgio Pinchiorri – whose renowned Florentine hot spot Enoteca Pinchiorri earned three Michelin stars – Florence-based Galateo catering company will handle the food for the Kardashian-West wedding ceremony at Forte Belvedere in Italy on Saturday.
The company, whose logo-festooned vans were seen shuttling back and forth from the venue in the two days leading up to the celebrations, specializes in Tuscan cuisine whose dishes are made with organic and locally sourced Tuscan ingredients. But it’s also been known to serve up multi-ethnic dishes, ranging from Greek to Mexican to African fare.
For Kardashian, who has seemingly done away with any pre-wedding dieting in the festivities leading up to her nuptials, the award-winning catering company boasts tons of tasty options including saffron pasta dumplings filled with black cabbage on a sauce of zolfini beans, or battered veal with a sweetened ginger sauce and a potato mousse patty cake. For dessert, there’s the possibility of a yogurt foam served on a Breton sablé of lime and fresh mango.
Voted the best catering company in Italy at 2012’s King of Catering Awards, the company is no novice when it comes to celebrity dining. Among some of the high-profile events it’s covered? An Oscar post party in Los Angeles and a 400-person gala dinner for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
