Vanna White: Pat Sajak Teases Me About My Cats!
Vanna White's three favorite letters? C-A-T! While she may don fancy dresses and clap effusively in your living room each night, at home, Vanna White's just happy to hang out with her kids — and her two cats. "I always had cats growing up," White tells PEOPLEPets.com. "So it was natural for me to raise some as an adult too."
Mom to Kiki, 8, and Stella, 4, White says taking care of cats in Hollywood is slightly different than in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where she grew up. "We didn't have a litter box inside, so the cats would just scratch at the door and go out," she explains. "But where I live now, there's always the threat of coyotes, so you have to be a lot more careful."
While White adopted Kiki, she bought Stella at a pet store in a self-described moment of weakness. "My daughter and I just happened to be walking by the store, and stopped in to see the pets. Lo and behold, my daughter fell in love with Stella — and there was no going back!"

Professional snowboarder and recently ousted Dancing with the Stars contestant Louie Vito "always wanted a dog," but his intense Olympic training schedule made taking care of a pet difficult. "I travel a lot during the winter," he tells PEOPLEPets.com. So what's a guy to do?
Enter sister and roommate Lindsay — also a pet lover. Vito, 21, decided that between the two of them, they could make it work. "After considering if we would be good pet owners — we decided we would be! — I adopted a 9-month-old pup," he says. "And I've been nothing but happy with her."

How did you spend your weekend? Hopefully you had as much fun as Bo Obama, who went to Maryland's Camp David on Saturday for a night of R&R (that's what we call running and more running!). With tons of private space perfect for a little doggy explorer, the First Pup was able to enjoy a few days of summer-like weather with his four favorite humans, the Obamas. After his quick trip, he returned to the White House in Washington, D.C., by van, where he was greeted by an adoring fan (above) — then stuck out his tongue! What would mom Michelle say?
Stars Put Pets First, Even on the Green Carpet, for N.Y.C. Charity Gala
It was a night where even the pets got to dress up: On the green carpet of artificial grass at the North Shore Animal League's 4th Annual DogCatemy Celebrity Gala, Martha Stewart's French bulldogs Francesca and Sharkey arrived decked out in black and white striped T-shirts alongside Mom.
"We love attending events like this to raise money for a good cause," Stewart told guests at the New York City fund-raiser and pet awards show, modeled after Hollywood's glitzy Academy Awards and held in the airy dining room at Cipriani, a chic Italian restaurant on Wall Street.
"It's a lot of fun," radio personality Howard Stern told PEOPLEPets.com. "It's a great event." Stern escorted his wife, Beth Ostrosky Stern, a longtime animal lover and spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League (NSAL), the largest no-kill animal shelter in the world. But where was Bianca, their 8-year-old bulldog? "She's at home, and her full name is Bianca Romijn Stamos O'Connell," Stern joked.

A collection of bright images and poetry, the book is the brainchild of character actress Deborah Raffin (7th Heaven) and her artist friend, Jane Wooster Scott. "I'd always wanted to write a children's book," Raffin tells PEOPLEPets.com. "And I believed Scott's work was just perfect.
