Brooke Burns 'Devastated' About Missing Maltipoo Max

Melrose Place actress Brooke Burns and her 9-year-old daughter Madison are "devastated" over the disappearance of their black maltipoo, Max, who went missing on Saturday, a rep tells PEOPLEPets.com.

The 3-year-old dog ran out a door that had been left open by some painters. According to Burns's rep, a neighbor near the star's Toluca Lake, Calif., home spotted a couple pick up the dog, who was not wearing any tags.

Over the weekend, the actress posted signs (right) asking that people with "ANY information" about the "very friendly" pooch contact them at a number provided. Burns wrote that the little dog "is the pride and joy of my 9-year-old girl."

Madison's father is Burns's former husband, Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon. We hope this sad story has a happy outcome for the family!
