Jesse James's Pooch CinnaBun Is 'Spoiled Again'

Sandra Bullock may have been primped and pampered before she took the stage to accept her Best Actress Oscar on Sunday night, but there's someone else in her household who's been receiving some extra special treatment: Bullock and Jesse James's dog CinnaBun.

The pit bull, who was returned to her owners on Feb. 17 after she'd been missing for several weeks, has been living the good life since she came back. "She's good. She's spoiled again … She's back to normal," James told PEOPLE as he headed to the Governors Ball with his wife Sunday.

The pooch, who is a staple at James's bike garage in Long Beach, Calif., has gained back some of the 15 lbs. she lost while away — though it's still unclear where exactly she spent those heart-wrenching weeks.

"She's a little hand-shy, so wherever she was, someone may have treated her badly," he says. "I'm not looking back, though, I'm just glad she's home."

Home was exactly where James (who says he's "so proud" of Bullock) decided to stay on Sunday as his movie-star wife prepped for the big show.

"She left early," he says. "I was home most of the day with the kids and the dogs."
