Though the Osbourne family has owned its fair share of dogs — topping out at even more than the current 15 — saying goodbye to their pets never gets easier.

"They're all a part of our family," mom Sharon Osbourne told PEOPLE on Wednesday at a CBS party in Beverly Hills. "They're all our dogs."

Speaking about daughter Kelly's recent loss — her weeks-old Pomeranian puppy, Woody, died on July 18 — Osbourne said the situation was "terrible. When something is lying in your arms and it's dead and you can't do anything for it, it's heartbreaking."

Woody will be honored with the rest of the family's deceased pups, behind the Osbourne's Los Angeles home. "They're buried in our garden," the new co-host of The Talk shared. "They all have little stones with their names on them."

Kelly still has another Pomeranian, Sid, whom she received as a birthday gift from her parents last year.
