Bo's Favorite Chew Toy? People’s Feet!

Since his arrival more than a week ago, the First Dog has already been forming some regular habits. His current fav? Chewing on people’s feet.

Michelle Obama spoke to children of White House employees today, in honor of Take Your Children to Work Day, and said that she has her hands full with that little bundle of fluff. "I'm doing a lot of dog walking and dog training," she said, adding that Bo's a "crazy dog. He loves to chew on people’s feet."

Last night in particular, Bo caused a stir in the White House hallways around bedtime. "The President and I came out [of our room] and we thought someone was out there," she said. "It was just Bo. And he was playing with his ball. And it was like another person was in the house."

When asked how she'd react if Bo were to run away, the First Lady said she'd be "very sad," but she's also confident he'd safely return home to his family. "He has tags and hopefully somebody would find him and bring him back," Obama told the kids. "But the South Lawn is gated, so it would be pretty hard for him to get out.”
