Demi Moore just may become the next Estee Lauder. The actress recently revealed that she’s developing a skincare line with Beverly Hills cosmetologist Terri Lawton – and judging by her appearance, she could certainly be the spokeswoman for it as well.
At the launch party and trunk show for the new clothing line Miss Davenporte at the Ron Herman boutique in Los Angeles, Moore showed up without a bit of makeup on her face and looked radiant. She credited her flawless complexion to the new line of products.
Joining Moore at the event were Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Elisha Cuthbert and Mandy Moore. They all sported Miss Davenporte frocks to support celebrity stylists-turned-designers Christina Ehrlich and Estee Stanley, the creative forces behind the label. In fact, Biel even changed her original fashion pick for the evening so that Moore could wear the asymmetrical cocktail dress intended for her.
As the Oscar buzz begins to grow louder, Hustle & Flow and Crash star Terrence Howard has one power player rooting for him. “Jamie Foxx left a message the other day. He said, ‘Yeah, man. We’re going to work on getting this nomination and getting you one of them statues in your hand. So let me know whatever it is you need me to do, and I’m going to do it,’ ” Howard told at us at the IFP’s 15th Annual Gotham Awards in New York City recently.
So, what does the actor think of his chances at the March 5 Academy Awards? Howard would only say, “I wish, I wish.”
