At one point the singer went to use the women’s bathroom, but when she saw how crowded it was, she opted for the men’s room instead. “She was in such a great mood,” says an onlooker. That wasn’t her only stop of the night. Spears also hit L.A.’s Hyde Lounge, where she had cocktails and bobbed her head to The Doors’ “Light My Fire.”
Kevin Federline dined with a pal (on the menu: lobster mashed potatoes) at Beverly Hills eatery Mastro’s Steakhouse. “They were chuckling away,” says an onlooker.
Terrence Howard, telling us at the L.A. premiere of The Pursuit of Happyness that he’s going to Dubai with his kids for the holidays. “It’s an amazing place. I want my children to see a place where people of color have made great strides and really have a chance.” And 2007 is shaping up to be very busy: He’s finishing up a biopic about Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall and will play country legend Charley Pride in another film.
Newly sober Lindsay Lohan, hanging out with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz during an Incubus set at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Universal City, Calif. The following night, she rushed to the stage entrance when rockers Panic! at the Disco performed. Jared Leto, bringing his mom as his date to Hollywood Life magazine’s 6th Annual Breakthrough Awards in Hollywood, where he accepted an honor for his work with his band 30 Seconds to Mars. He poked fun when a photo of himself in character as a bloated Mark David Chapman in Chapter 27 was flashed onscreen. “Thank you for showing that picture. My career as a tabloid serial dater is now officially over!”

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, celebrating Kirk Douglas’s 90th birthday at L.A. French restaurant L’Orangerie. “They looked like a big happy family,” says an onlooker. “Everyone gave Kirk lots of hugs and he liked every moment of it.
