Mark Salling would truly be full of Glee if his hit show looked across the pond for the music act it covers next.
The actor and soon-to-be solo artist, who plays Puck, said he’d be giddy if the cast could tackle songs by England-based band Radiohead
“It’s just what I grew up on. It’s my personal taste,” he said in Las Vegas Saturday while attending a party at Rain Nightclub for the launch of the Fallout: New Vegas video game. “It’s great music and I think it would be a cool change.”
Now in its second season, Fox’s hit show has covered everyone from Britney Spears to Jay-Z to Carried Underwood, among many others. And on Oct. 26 (8 p.m. ET), the show will take on the songs – and characters – of the cult classic film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As for which Radiohead songs he would like to cover, Salling, 28, said he thinks “Karma Police” and “Paranoid Android” would fit in the show.
Salling, however, doesn’t have time to worry about the song list, as he has his own solo album to promote. Pipe Dreams is “honest,” he said, and “has a ’60s feel with a little bit of Jazz, and a little bit of country thrown in there, a little bit of rock. It’s very melodic. People will enjoy the melodies.”
