In honor of the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival, which begins Wednesday with a screening of Wes Anderson’s star-studded Moonrise Kingdom (its ensemble cast includes Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton), Life.com is paying homage to old Hollywood with photographs taken at the festival 50 years ago in 1962, such as this snapshot of Wood.
