“Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year s festivities is a major coup,” says Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC Entertainment.
“Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama.”
The funny ladies have already been a hit as awards show presenters – the Poehler-orchestrated beauty pageant sendup was the hit of the 2011 Emmy Awards – and both have Globes experience, with Fey as a winner for 30 Rock and Poehler as a nominee for Parks and Recreation.
The awards, selected by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, air live from the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 13.
