Gia Allemand’s mom Donna Micheletti doesn’t fault her daughter’s boyfriend for leading to her shocking suicide last month.
Micheletti says such wasn’t the case, and in fact, it is her daughter’s dad Eugene Allemand who is to blame.
“Right after Mother’s Day, she had a falling out with her father, really badly,” Micheletti recently said on the season premiere of Dr. Phil. “She was devastated. He told her she was an idiot, she was too stupid and ‘You’re no daughter of mine, don’t call me for Father’s Day and lose my number.’ That was the beginning of her end. I think it just ate her up and then she was picking on her boyfriend I told [her dad] I blamed him. I told him, ‘It’s your fault. You’re the reason.’ ”
Eugene acknowledged the argument, telling the New York Daily News at Gia’s wake, “We had a fight on Mother’s Day and I said some things that I regret. I wish I could take them back, but it’s too late. If she were still here, I would tell her I’m so sorry and that I love her and that she will always be my rainbow.”
Combined with the issues from her dad, Gia was also apparently strongly affected by her menstrual cycle.
