The Aug. 28 event created something of a frenzy across the Hudson River from Manhattan, as Timberlake, 32, tweeted out an invitation to the private gig early that evening – and police tried to keep order as thousands of fans crowded the streets outside the famed nightclub.
It turned out to be a shoot for an upcoming Target commercial. And now, the retailer has posted video footage from the evening, featuring Timberlake performing a groovy version of the disco-tinged R&B tune from his upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2.
Target will be selling a special deluxe edition of the album, which is due to be released on Monday.
