Adolescence is a confusing time. One moment you want to be married; the next, you don’t. Or so it was for Courtney Stodden, who after two years of marriage, decided to part ways with former Lost star Doug Hutchison, her husband and elder by 35 years.
Wed at the age of 16, “Now, at 19, she’s interested in exploring life as an unmarried single young adult – with the freedom to explore her independence,” her rep told the U.K.’s Daily Mail. Without reading too much into that loaded statement, we’re going to assume a return to dating is on the horizon for the aspiring country singer, and given her past preferences, we’ve narrowed down our suggestions by age range. Meet your matches, Courtney!
Options 1-3: The Young and the Restless
Let’s start with everyone’s favorite Hunger Games heartthrob (sorry, Liam Hemsworth): The 21-year-old actor is charming, witty and cute, but most importantly, Stodden would only have to change her married last name by a few letters if the two were to wed.
Just like Stodden, 36-year-old Aldean is recently single following his split from wife Jessica Ussery, and he could probably aid the budding country crooner with both her career and in coping with her divorce.
If there’s any positive outcome from her marriage to Hutchison, it could be that Stodden got a chance to meet her former hubby’s hunky Lost costar Andrews, 44, who himself abides by “age is just a number” when it comes to relationships.
Options 4-6: Older and (Hopefully) Wiser
He’s romanced Heidi Klum and Naomi Campbell, so there’s nothing Stodden could bring to the table the 63-year-old Italian businessman and one-time racing magnate couldn’t handle. Now that’s life in the fast lane.
Blonde hair. Big boobs. Of all the options we’ve named, is there anyone more suited for Stodden than Playboy’s 87-year-old founding father? Didn’t think so.
