There are some really pivotal moments each season on The Biggest Loser, and one of those is when the contestants go from teams to singles.
When I announced to the contestants that they had made it to singles, you could see how excited they were to reach such a huge milestone in their journey.
Then I told them about the triathlon at the end of the season, which will assure its winner an automatic spot in the finals. Immediately, the competition jumped into high gear.
The heat continued to rise when the challenge began, but I was quickly impressed with the strength and determination of many of the contestants. When the contestants were still holding strong after 30 minutes, I began getting nervous for them and worried about how much longer they could go.
After an hour, Rachel remained the only girl fighting against David and Jay. Her eyes were laser-focused and her determination was palpable, and in the end, it paid off with her winning the 1 lb. advantage in the next weigh-in.
