No blurred lines about it: On March 10, singer Robin Thicke turns 37.
Unfortunately, this year’s big day is overshadowed by Thicke’s recent spilt from wife Paula Patton. To help with the birthday heartache, the crooner should reflect on simpler times – when he was just a boy looking for love.
In 1989, a time long before Twerkgate, Thicke was an aspiring child star. Surprisingly, Alan Thicke’s musically gifted son didn’t drop in on Growing Pains, but he did appear on several episodes of The Wonder Years in the role of “Boy #3.”
It’s in the season 2 episode titled “Steady as She Goes” that Number Three has his big moment. With only his feathered hair, a water fountain and Kevin Arnold’s narration to guide him, Thicke’s character manages to land a blonde beauty as his girlfriend.
In celebration of the entertainer’s big day, watch Thicke work his magic in the clip above.
