Snakes, bats and chanting shamans were just a few of the things in Mexico to spook The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, but the most frightening encounter of all may have happened when Phaedra Parks walked in on her husband talking intimately to Kenya Moore.
“I do not do snakes, I do not do snakes, I do not do snakes,” NeNe Leakes hilariously chanted upon encountering an anaconda, while a hyperventilating Porsha Stewart said, “When you see a snake as big as a building, yeah, I’m scared.”
When the snake was picked up and hauled away from them, Parks, 40, said she hoped they were taking it to Jimmy Choo.
“Let him make me some shoes out of it,” she said, before adding a not-so-subtle swipe at the wives as they descended into a cave. “Bats don’t bother me at all I’m feeling right at home.”
The jungle animals were just part of a cavern excursion arranged by Moore, where they explored caves and swam in a natural underground stream.
Moore, 42, then visited a shaman with some of the wives in order to tap his special power to “unlock her fertility,” as she continued her quest for a child.
“I guess a witch would love a witch,” Parks, who did not go, stated.
That night, Moore met the husbands for cigars and shots of tequila, before ushering Apollo Nida away to discuss their ongoing “text-gate” scandal and Nida’s claims that Moore wanted to have sex with him when the two were in L.A.
“I was the biggest Apollo fan,” Moore said. “I never said anything negative about you Where is all this coming from? Nothing ever happened [in L.A.].”
“You put yourself in that situation you threw the first jab,” Nida said. “I could’ve slept with you if I wanted.”
“I never offered anything to you, Apollo,” Moore said.
“Damn right, I could have,” Nida said. “I know I could have.”
“I never offered you sex, Apollo,” she protested. “I hear you’re saying all kinds of stuff about me that’s just not true.”
“You are an attractive woman,” Nida admitted.
