Frozen is hot!

The film has made history at the box office as the top-grossing animated feature of all time, raking in over $1 billion worldwide.

The Oscar-winning Disney movie beat out Toy Story 3, which previously held the top spot for animated money-makers.

Frozen also earned a place on the list of biggest global blockbusters of all time, coming in tenth after The Dark Knight Rises. Avatar tops that list, earning more than $2.7 billion.

The digital release is also the fastest-selling ever, with over 3 million DVD and BluRay copies sold the first day of their release.

The celebrated soundtrack for the film, which features Idina Menzel singing “Let it Go,” has gone platinum.

The film’s stars – Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff – even made a behind-the-scenes music video about the hit movie at Disney’s animation studios.
