Bachelor Bob Guiney is returning to television – sort of. Posters for his solo CD, 3 Sides, will hang on the walls of a record store set on the long-running soap All My Children beginning March 31. How did it happen? Wanting to make the new set look as realistic as possible, producers have been contacting record labels in search of promotional posters. Executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers called AMC star Rebecca Budig to see if her beau, Guiney, would be willing to have his posters displayed. “Rebecca called Bob and Bob said, ‘Please!’” says an on-set source.
Before the packed premiere of Jersey Girl at New York’s Ziegfeld Theater, director Kevin Smith had an important announcement: “We’re just waiting for J.Lo to show up,” he joked as he stood next to Ben Affleck. “Thanks,” Affleck said with a laugh. “This is what friends are for.”
BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER?
If having similar interests keeps couples together, than model-actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and John Stamos are in for the long haul. Actor John is a also drummer who has performed with the Beach Boys. As for Rebecca, “I actually like music,” she told us at the South by Southwest indie film conference in Austin, “and majored in … voice for a while (at the University of California in Santa Cruz). I like to sing. But then I got into modeling with an agency and then eventually working with Victoria’s Secret.” The pair was at the conference to screen I Am Stamos, a dark comedy about a character actor who wishes to be a leading man and begins magically showing up as John Stamos in photographs.
