Savannah, 3½, rides high on her dad Tom Mahoney’s shoulders, while twin sister Eden stays close to mom during a shopping trip in Los Angeles on Dec. 31, 2010. “He is a phenomenal father. The girls are madly in love with him, and I don t blame them, because I am too!” Cross told PEOPLE recently.
Is there a new member of the Cross-Mahoney family? During a trip to the Brentwood Country Mart on Sept. 4, Eden, 3½, pushes her baby doll while her drink-toting sister Savannah and mom Cross bring up the rear.
Glammed-up as Bree on the Desperate Housewives set on Apr. 16, Cross received a few visitors to break up her day – daughter Eden and her twin Savannah (not pictured)! Her girls, who are frequent guests, have even started making requests! “Already, at two, my little one said ‘Mommy, I want to go to craft [services],’” she shared.
With one daughter in her arms and the other ready for a run, Cross steps out with her twins Eden and Savannah in a Los Angeles park on Jan. 4. Equating raising twins with “playing ping-pong on the interstate,” Cross told David Letterman life with her daughters is “pretty non-stop. But it’s absolutely wonderful.”
Hello there! Savannah waves to the cameras as mom carries her through Santa Monica, Calif., on Nov. 10. Cross told USA Today Savannah is “very passionate and impulsive, which I am. And she looks like her dad!”
I see you! Cross and her twins get playful at a local park in Brentwood, Calif., on Oct. 28. The actress says she “thinks in twos” when it comes to raising her girls, and told Graco, “My girls have a happy mom and I think that is a gift to them as well as to me.”
Cross and Mahoney embrace while walking the girls through Brentwood on Oct. 6. The actress always sings her husband’s praises, telling PEOPLE, “He’s there every minute, and he’s as madly in love with [the twins] as I am.”
The ladies keep their heads covered while out for a swimming trip with Dad in Brentwood on July 26. How did Cross first tell Mahoney she was pregnant? She shared with Extra, “I put his cappuccino on a tray and put the little stick on it and he thought it was the spoon!”
Cross and daughter Eden make a splash in Santa Monica on July 3. The actress – who calls her daughter a “gushing heart” – says Eden “sees someone and (excitedly) says, ‘Hi, hi, hi!’ If Savannah is crying, she says, ‘Crying, Savvy crying? It’s okay Savvy.’ It’s just the sweetest thing ever.”
Eden and Savannah shine in the sun while playing with mom at a Brentwood park on Feb. 10. Cross believes in keeping her girls out and about, telling PEOPLE, “I like to show them the world. Say hi to the flowers.”
The happy family of four posed at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills on Dec. 15, before Cross gave a reading of the book Snowpeople. Would Cross want her daughters to go to into show business? No. But politics? “Maybe,” she told PEOPLE. “Senator Mahoney. President Mahoney. If they want to, I’ll be there for them.”
Looks like the perfect day for a picnic! Cross and Mahoney feed their baby girls while out at a Santa Monica park on Aug. 11. Of her family, Cross shared withPsychologies magazine, “Everything I’d wanted so much for so long seemed to happen all at once.”
Cross introduced her girls to the world on a cover of PEOPLE in April of 2007. Calling Eden “feisty” and Savannah “Zen,” the actress says her daughters’ names both just “came to her” – Savannah’s in a premonition!
