Maybe they were just browsing? After checking out the stuffed animals inside the Build-A-Bear Workshop in the Big Apple on March 14, Camila and her two eldest, Levi and Vida, leave the store empty-handed.
Alves keeps a close eye on her tots (Levi, 2, and Vida, 9 months) during an afternoon stroll on Oct. 9, 2010 in Malibu. “[Vida] is walking, so we’re busy – not much time for us to daydream, because if you look up at the sky for about 10 seconds they’re a half-mile down the road,” McConaughey recently shared about family life.

Expectant Alves and son Levi, 15 months, traded in bikinis and waves for long sleeves and a warm hat on Oct. 18 in Malibu, Calif. What’s Levi’s nickname? “We call him the fruit bandit cause if there s fruit out, he s on it, takin it and eatin it,” McConaughey laughs.
Family beach day! McConaughey, pregnant Alves and Levi headed down to the shore on Aug. 30 in Malibu, Calif. The couple’s second child is due in late December/early January. “My lady Camila and I got another baby on the way,” McConaughey blogged. “Not sure if it s a boy or girl but we have our instincts…what are you thinking?”
Buddha belly on display, Levi, 13 months, keeps a close eye on his toy truck as mom Alves drives it around the sandbox during a park playdate in Malibu, Calif. on Aug 5. “We had to super child-proof the new house because Levi’s motoring around like Usain Bolt and eatin’ like Kobayashi,” McConaughey joked. “Camila and I can barely keep up.”
Love his little Buddha belly! A diaper-clad Levi chills with dad McConaughey on June 12 at their favorite spot – the Malibu beach! The actor claims the two even share a special father-son bond: “He and I have our own jokes that he and his mother don’t have,” says McConaughey.

He’s starting early! McConaughey gives Levi a lift as the two head to L.A.’s Sunset Marquis hotel for a press day on April 27. What’s Levi like on the job? Apparently, a charmer just like his dad! “He’s a big flirt,” McConaughey jokes. “Very much so.”
Hang ten! Levi, Alves and McConaughey take in the sun during a stroll along the Malibu shore on April 5. The baby’s beach destiny has been planned for him: Ellen DeGeneres gifted him with a baby-sized surfboard shortly after he was born.

Alves keeps Levi close in Beverly Hills on Dec. 11, 2008. The model-designer mom and McConaughey have a laid-back approach to parenting: “Just enjoy the adventure of it that’s what’s been happening with us, and it seems to be working well,” the actor has shared.
Hello up there! Levi, McConaughey and Alves share a moment to remember – visiting the Grand Canyon! – in November. “I want to get him out into the world,” says McConaughey. “I like the city but I also want some space. And my boy is going to be out in the middle of it.”
A snoozing 8-week-old Levi snuggles with his parents last August before McConaughey tackled a 10-kilometer race in Austin, Texas. Becoming a father has opened up a new world for the actor. “I see the future, and it’s clearer to me,” McConaughey shares. “Walking around with this cool responsibility all the time, it’s a wonderful thing.”
Here he is! McConaughey and Alves introduce their son to the world just days after his July 7th birth. “This kid has a lot to learn from us,” McConaughey said at the time. “I want him to come out being a little wiser, a little cooler and a little happier than we are.”
