The Hanson brothers are many things: musicians, fathers, philanthropists … and beer sommeliers?

Just in time for the upcoming American Craft Beer Week, Taylor, Isaac and Zac Hanson — who launched a pale ale called Mmmhops last year — celebrated the beer’s nationwide release with a special tasting exclusively for PEOPLE.

Zac Hanson Spat on By Angry Onlooker

How rude!

An upset onlooker succeeded in degrading only himself when he spat on Zac Hanson, drummer and singer with the brother-band Hanson.

The man had been kicked off the Hanson tour bus in Seattle on Monday, according to Gossip Cop.

Hanson Debuts MmmHops Beer

As if the sound of Hanson’s mega-hit “MMMBop” wasn’t intoxicating enough, the adorable band of brothers has produced something that could really get you buzzing: a new beer called – what else? – MmmHops.

The awesomely-titled IPA – created with the help of a craft brewery in their home state of Oklahoma, according to BeerPulse.com – was introduced by the brothers at The Hangover Part III afterparty in L.A. Monday night.

Hanson's New Endeavor: MmmHops Beer

Hanson is expanding their empire once again, but this time it’s not with a new baby – or even a new album.

The band of brothers, who’ve been recording music and touring the world since they first shot to fame with their infectious hit “MmmBop” in 1997, are branching out.

Their newest endeavor: a beer called, wait for it, MmmHops.

After the buzz-worthy news hit the Internet Wednesday, Zac Hanson released a statement confirming the project.

It's a Girl for Zac Hanson

Zac Hanson got an early holiday present on Wednesday – and it was exactly what he was hoping for.

The Hanson drummer and his wife Kate welcomed their second child, daughter Junia Rosa Ruth, who arrived at 8 lbs., 7 oz. “We couldn’t imagine a better Christmas gift than this sweet little girl,” Hanson, 25, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“In just the short time she’s been here, she’s enriched our family and our lives beyond measure,” he adds. “We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with our family and introducing her to everyone.”

Hanson Ready to Hit the Road!

Hanson is taking to the road this fall in support of their album The Walk – and they’re going to do just that with fans.

Before each of their 35 tour stops (beginning Sept. 7 in Portland, Ore.) on the “Walk Around The World Tour,” the band will continue their tradition of taking a barefoot, one-mile walk with fans with the goal of walking ‘around the world,’ or 24,902 miles, to raise awareness about poverty and AIDS in Africa.

Zac Hanson and His Wife Expecting a Baby

Make way for the eleventh member of the Hanson clan: Zac, the youngest of the Hanson trio, and his wife Kate are expecting their first child in May, they tell PEOPLE exclusively.

“I am utterly thrilled at the thought of becoming a father,” says Zac, 22. “I can’t wait to meet this person.” Adds Kate, 23, “This is the most amazing time for us. It’s the most romantic thing we’ve ever done.”

Isaac Hanson Expected to Make 'Full and Swift' Recovery

Isaac Hanson of the brother group Hanson underwent “life-saving” surgery Thursday for a disease causing blood clots and is expected to be well enough to perform as early as next week, his rep says.

“Everyone in the Hanson camp are very pleased with the outcome of Isaac’s surgery,” the band’s rep, Ken Phillips, tells PEOPLE. “Isaac, Taylor and Zac are all looking forward to getting back out on the road doing what they love best, performing.”

Musician Isaac Hanson Hospitalized

Isaac Hanson, the oldest member of the brother band Hanson, was hospitalized in Texas with a pulmonary embolism, his rep said Wednesday.

Hanson, 26, was admitted to Baylor University Medical Center after suffering severe shoulder and chest pains after a Tuesday night show in Dallas, says rep Ken Phillips.

“He underwent several tests throughout the night and has been diagnosed with pulmonary embolism” – a clot in a blood vessel, says Phillips. “Isaac is currently undergoing treatment and will be re-evaluated shortly by doctors.”
