A New Jersey family of four who were found dead after a house fire on late Tuesday are believed to be victims of a murder-suicide.

Neighbors reported hearing a loud “bang” on Tuesday before seeing the Long Branch house engulfed in flames, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Firefighters arrived on the scene quickly, but it took some time for them to fight their way through the smoke and flames.
