Taye Diggs has been cast as the next Hedwig in Broadway’s Hedwig and The Angry Inch starting this summer.

The show’s lead producer, David Binder, confirmed the news on Monday.

“Taye is fantastic – he has theater cred, he has pop culture cred, he can sing, he can act, he can dance, he s smart and he s sexy,” Binder tells the New York Times.

Not only did Neil Patrick Harris celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, but he also celebrated turning 41.

So how did the dad of 3½-year-old twins Gideon and Harper spend his big day?

First up: Gospel Brunch at the Red Rooster, where he ate fried chicken, biscuits and waffles. “[The kids] loved singing and all of the good food,” Harris said of the family’s mid-morning meal. “It’s delicious – the fried chicken, chicken and smothered gravy and biscuits.”
