Watch George Eads Say Goodbye to CSI

Which Original Cast Member Is Leaving CSI?

George Eads – one of the last remaining members of CSI’s original ensemble – will leave the CBS drama at season’s end.

TV Guide reports that Eads’s decision to leave the show that made him a household name was an amicable one. His departure from playing Nick Stokes will apparently be tied to the ongoing Gig Harbor Killer case.

It’s unclear how Eads will be written out of the series.

George Eads, Jorja Fox Reunite with CSI

Expect a reunion this week on the set of CBS’s top-rated CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after the network reportedly played hardball with two of its stars.

George Eads, one of two actors who was fired from the show two weeks ago after the network claimed he was holding out for a salary boost, will return to the cameras this Thursday to begin the crime show’s new season, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Fox Returns to CSI, But Will Eads?

Axed CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Jorja Fox is back on the job after reaching an agreement with the network on Thursday, reports the Associated Press.

Fox, 36, will reportedly return to the set next week after briefly losing her role for skipping work in a reputed salary dispute.

Costar George Eads, who also lost his job when he also failed to report last week for the start of production on the fifth season, is said to be still trying to finesse his return.

George Eads Wants His Job Back on CSI

Axed CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actor George Eads says he wasn’t involved in a salary-negotiating ploy when he missed work – he just overslept.

Eads, who plays Nick Stokes on the top-rated CBS drama, told TV reporters Wednesday that he hoped the “big misunderstanding” with the network and its boss, Les Moonves, would soon be resolved so he could return to work, reports the Associated Press.

“Yeah, definitely, I look forward to going back,” he said in the midst of promoting his July 30 TNT movie Evel Knievel.
