Actor, screenwriter and director Jon Favreau and his physician wife Joya Tillem have welcomed their third child, daughter Brighton Rose Favreau, the actor’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

The baby, who was born on Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, weighed 6 lbs., 13 oz. and measured 18.5 inches. Favreau celebrated the news with a posting on his MySpace blog: “Last night I had my third kid. Her name is Brighton Rose Favreau and she’s doing great.”

Actor, screenwriter and director Jon Favreau and his wife, physician Joya Tillem, are expecting their third child, Favreau’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple are already parents to daughter Madelaine, 3, and son Max, 4, who is named for a character in Favreau’s 2001 comedy Made.

Favreau, 39, and Tillem, 36, a doctor at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, wed on Nov. 24, 2000, in Sonoma, Calif.
