Claudia Schiffer Expecting Third Child

Claudia Schiffer and her husband, film producer and director Matthew Vaughn, are expecting a third child, her rep confirms.

“We are thrilled about the good news and can hardly wait to have a bigger family,” the couple, who wed in 2002, said in a statement.

The supermodel, 39, is due in May. The baby will join siblings Clementine, 5, and Caspar, 7 this month.

Claudia Schiffer took a walk in London with her children in their black Bugaboo Cameleon ($879). Clementine De Vere Drummond, 2, rode in the seat while Caspar De Vere Drummond (who just turned 4 on January 30th) hitched a ride on the wheeled board ($80).  Both children had their faces painted.

Claudia Schiffer Welcomes a Baby Girl

Claudia Schiffer and her filmmaker husband Matthew Vaughn welcomed their second child, a baby girl born Thursday in a London hospital, CNN reports.

In a statement, Vaughn said of the new arrival, who weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz.: “I would like to thank my beautiful wife, Claudia, for giving me an equally beautiful daughter, a little sister for Caspar.” The elder sibling is 22 months old.

Claudia Schiffer and her husband of three months, British film producer Matthew Vaughn, are going to be parents, the German supermodel’s London spokeswoman told Reuters on Monday. “We can confirm she is pregnant and has got through the first trimester,” said the rep. “Matt and Claudia are absolutely over the moon and think it is great news.” No further details, including a due date, were provided by the highly private pair.
