Moby Blogs About Dalai Lama Meeting

Platinum-selling musician Moby was granted an audience with the Dalai Lama Thursday in Philadelphia.

Writing on his Web site, Moby said he was joined by friends Serj Tankian from System of a Down, KT Tunstall and Joss Stone. The artists came together for The Missing Peace Music Project, the Dalai Lama’s peace through music campaign.

Moby Attacked After Boston Concert

Platinum-selling electronic musician Moby was attacked early Thursday morning outside a Boston-area music venue following a radio station-sponsored holiday concert – during which the self-described pacifist spoke out against aggression and violence, the Boston Globe reports.

Writing on his Web site, Moby (real name: Richard Melville Hall), 37, said he was ambushed when he stopped to sign autographs outside the Paradise Club, where he had just given a concert.

Moby Speaks on VMA Battle with Eminem

Eminem may have been booed by the crowd inside Radio City Music Hall when he dissed fellow musician Moby at last week’s Video Music Awards, but it looks like the electronic star is having the last word. For now.

“The truth is I honestly, in all sincerity, thought that the whole Eminem thing was done in some semblance of humor until Eminem called me a p–sy (that was off camera) and then threatened to beat me up,” Moby writes on his Web site. “Ah well.”
