Woody's New Girl

Woody Allen, 64, and his wife, Soon-Yi Previn, 29, have adopted a second daughter, an Allen rep confirmed Wednesday. New York’s Daily News reported that the baby was born in Texas about six months ago and arrived at the Allen household in Manhattan shortly thereafter. The couple’s first daughter, Bechet, named for Allen’s jazz clarinetist idol Sidney Bechet, was adopted last year. Reports say the new arrival is named Manzie Tio Allen after Manzie Johnson, a drummer with Bechet’s band, and Lorenzo Tio, who taught Bechet to play.
