Dancing with the Stars Recap: 10th Anniversary Special

DWTS Recap: Who Went Home After a Nasty Comment from Bruno Tonioli?

An interesting development occurred before everyone laced up their Danskins on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars – Noah Galloway was fixing to dance with a prosthetic arm!

DWTS: Which Couple Didn't Make It to the Finals?

The final five couples took to the stage for this week’s Dancing with the Stars semifinals, and while each duo had impressive performances, one couple had to be sent home. This week Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd took their final bows on the dance floor after performing two dances to different types of music – one plugged and the other unplugged – for this week’s theme.

“I’ve just showed that old stoners can perform when they need to!” joked Chong during his final send-off.

Here’s how the couples fared:

Round One

DWTS: Who Got the Boot Before Tommy Chong?

Going with great news – rather than just a great performance – is the best way to start off Dancing with the Stars. To that end, Monday’s installment killed it with the bulletin that oldie but goodie Tommy Chong made it for another week!

But Chong getting to stay meant that a (high-scoring) celebrity had to go. So it was a surprise when Lea Thompson – who looked stunning while performing some of her best dances – was named as the next hoofer to leave the ballroom.

DWTS: Who Was Finally Eliminated on Monday's Show?

It was a Dynamic Duos theme under the mirror ball on Dancing with the Stars Monday but the night’s Tarzan – better known as Michael Waltrip – couldn t swing enough votes to keep him and his Jane inside the fringe jungle.

The racecar driver became the latest celebrity to leave the ABC show.

“It was a chance to do something that was more emotional than it was physical, to get to experience the wonderful cast, to get to know Emma’s heart and who she is as a person,” Waltrip told host Tom Bergeron. “I’m happy I got to be here and sad I have to go.”

Whose Waltz Scared the Judges and Lost Him a Chance for the Mirror Ball Trophy?

How’s this for scary: Judge Len Goodman started the night in a casket!

It was an appropriate opening because the returning judge had to help sound the death knell for Antonio Sabato Jr.

No matter how many times the soap star went shirtless under the mirror ball this season, he and partner Cheryl Burke just couldn’t keep the judges, or viewers, happy.

“I danced with one of the best in the world,” Sabato Jr. said. “It’s all about the fans and that’s why I am here.”

What's Up with the Chemistry Between DWTS Champs Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis?

Tom Bergeron: Brooke Burke-Charvet Has Been 'Very Encouraging' to Erin Andrews

There are apparently no hard feelings in the Dancing with the Stars hosting hot seat.

Since being shockingly replaced by Erin Andrews as the co-host of ABC’s hit show for its 18th season (which kicks off on Monday), Brooke Burke-Charvet “has been very encouraging to Erin,” fellow host Tom Bergeron, 58, told PEOPLE on Tuesday.

Brooke Burke-Charvet: How I Explained Getting 'Let Go' from DWTS to My Kids

It sounds like Brooke Burke-Charvet has accepted the fact that she was replaced by Erin Andrews as Tom Bergeron’s co-host on Dancing with the Stars for its 18th season.

Even so, the surprise she initially expressed upon learning her fate still resonates.

Brooke Burke-Charvet Is Out as Co-Host of Dancing with the Stars

Brooke Burke-Charvet is leaving Dancing with the Stars.

The news that she won’t return to the show comes as a shock to the former contestant, who was by Tom Bergeron’s side as co-host since season 10 of the ballroom dancing competition.
