They arrived on Friday, with Harry praising his fellow trekkers, who included a double-amputee and a blind U.S. Army captain.
“It will prove to everybody that there’s so much that can be made possible when you think that nothing is left,” he said on the Walking With The Wounded charity blog.
“I think we’ll be having a few whiskies tonight and the everyone’s looking forward to getting home.”
The 29-year-old should be back in London in time to see girlfriend Cressida Bonas before Christmas and then go on to celebrate the holidays with his brother, Prince William, sister-in-law, Kate and little nephew Prince George.
It was no mean feat for the veterans from the U.K., U.S., Australia and Canada as they battled temperatures of 58 degrees below zero while pulling sleds loaded with their provisions.
