While traveling in Armenia two weeks after their wedding last August, newlyweds Kristy and Jeff Sevag stumbled upon an 11-ounce puppy they describe as "abandoned, alone and adorable." After scooping her up and taking her to a local vet, the couple decided to adopt her as their own and bring her back to the United States with them. Now, inspired by the love and life of their pooch, named Niva, Kristy has launched a line of gift bags just for dogs, called Printed Puppy Doggie Bags. Retailing for $4-$5.25 online, the colorful bags are themed for birthdays, puppy adoptions or "just because." Most are recyclable or made from recycled paper, to boot. Decorative gift tags, tissue paper, ribbon and wrapping paper are sold separately.
