Some would argue that cats carry an air of entitlement, and while we don't necessarily agree, the book Luxury For Cats ($59.95, teNeues ) – a 220-page tome filled with luxe cat houses, beds, food dishes and more – certainly doesn't halt the stereotype.
With text in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish, the book also covers beauty and wellness (ever considered acupuncture for your cat?), travel (pet-savvy hotels complete with spas) and high-tech toilets for uber-trained kitties. Though written with a tongue-in-cheek tone – pearls for your cat, really? – Luxury For Cats features only items that are available for purchase. The back of the book provides a list of upscale online stores, cat organizations and shows, photographers, magazines and more for additional information on all things feline.
