PEOPLE's Leah Rozen Film Review: Marley & Me
Barry Wetcher
It's a blond-off when Aniston, Wilson and the doggie star of this pooch-powered comedy are all on screen. Who has the tawniest locks, the most artful streaking? It's a toss-up. Ditto as to whether you'll appreciate this excessively warm and furry tale based on a popular memoir by John Grogan about the effect that Marley a lovable, misbehaving yellow Labrador has on a newspaper columnist (Wilson), his wife (Aniston) and kids. Dog lovers will likely enjoy Marley's worship of its drooling hero, while cat and other non-canine fanciers will find it too pooching precious. 2 Stars
