Cat Rains on German Weatherman's Newscast

Forget snakes on a plane; for one German television station, it was cat on the set! As German meteorologist Joerg Kachelmann was giving his forecast on live TV earlier this week, a colleague's pet cat wandered on camera, waving his tail in the air before crawling into Kachelmann's arms. The weatherman handled the situation like a pro, delivering his forecast with a straight face as the cat, named Lupin, pawed at his beard and the green screen. "I know the English have a saying about raining cats and dogs," Kachelmann told the Telegraph, "but unfortunately I couldn't make that joke in Germany."
