What It Is: A tool that places phone calls to people in a pet owner's neighborhood when their furry friend goes missing. Purchase a "package" of phone calls – from $125 for 500 calls to $445 for 5,000 calls – and an automated system will alert area residents of your missing pet, giving details on looks, name and contact information.
The Backstory: Siblings Dustin and Krislyn Sterlino founded the site, after a close friend of theirs lost a cat. As she posted flyers around town, they realized there had to be a more efficient way of searching for lost pets – so FindToto.com was born.
Happy Endings: Last year, the site helped find around 800 lost animals – including a kangaroo, tortoise and goat! – thanks to the two million automated phone calls placed.
