Even Monopoly is jumping on the doodle bandwagon. In a limited edition that updates prices, locations and the old favorite tokens, Monopoly Here & Now the traditional Scottish terrier is replaced with a Labradoodle.
The Labradoodle, a hybrid of Labrador retriever and a poodle, is becoming increasingly popular with families who like the goofy friendliness of a Lab, but also want the poodle's non-shedding coat.
Some dog people think Hasbro made the right move, picking the more practical dog. For those who still like the Scottie, the recently released iPod edition lets you use the old icons.
