Ex-French President Attacked by His Depressed Dog
Apparently doggy depression can be a very dangerous thing. France's former president, Jacques Chirac, learned that first hand recently when he was attacked by his clinically depressed maltipoo named Sumo and rushed to the hospital, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

"The dog went for him for no apparent reason," Mrs. Chirac told the Daily Mail. "We were already aware the animal was unpredictable and is actually being treated with pills for depression ... My husband was bitten quite badly, but he is certain to make a full recovery over the coming weeks." No word yet on exactly where Chirac was bitten. The dog was a gift to the Chirac's from their grandson Martin, the newspaper said.
