Doggie Makeovers! See These Pups Get Adoption-Ready

A little bath can go a long way! On this morning's Today show, reporter Jill Rappaport gave four pups living at the NYC Animal Care and Control Shelter the makeover of a lifetime. The sweet pooches – all up for adoption – have been waiting for a loving home, but unfortunately, were looking a little mangy. Though AC&C gives all cats and dogs a proper vet exam when they arrive – including vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and insertion of a microchip – there just isn't enough funding for a bath and a trim, so many dogs go un-groomed for months. Rappaport, an animal lover, chose four dogs from the shelter to receive doggie makeovers, then brought them on Today to debut their new looks.
