Avast, Ye Dogs, a Skull Sweatshirt to Love

"I knew I wanted to do a skull, but not just any ordinary skull," says Pulaski. "I think people are attracted to skulls for different reasons – a symbol of mortality, a reminder we are no different than animals, and then there are pirates!" Pulaski does her own designing and printing in the Queens, N.Y., apartment that she shares with two "silly" cats. "Strangely, I do not have a dog," she confesses, "but I make clothes for them."
