Launching in July, the animal-friendly airline is open to furry creatures only: No people allowed (minus pilots and pet attendants, of course). The Beech 1900 planes fly in and out of regional airports in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles, delivering dogs and cats for just $149 each way. Owners drop their pets at a Pet Airways airport lounge, and pick them up straight from the plane upon arrival (they can even track them online). Pet Attendants ensure animals' comfort, even monitoring how often the little guys relieve themselves. Any size dog or cat is welcome, and soon, the airlines will open up to reptiles, birds and pigs (and eventually, more cities). Now that's creature comfort!
