Ellen DeGeneres is stripping down – for a cause. The daytime talk show host is selling some of her favorite old clothes with the help of eBay in an auction called Whatcha Sellin' Ellen? and donating 100 percent of winning bids to the Humane Society of the United States. Over the course of three weeks, DeGeneres will put 75 items on ellentv.com for purchase, starting the bidding at $1. Outfits include the navy jacket she wore during President Barack Obama's appearance on her show, and the white suit she wore when accepting the Daytime Emmy for outstanding talk show host. In-studio celebrity guests will have the opportunity to donate items as well. New items – from everyday slacks and sweaters to T-shirts and scarves – will be introduced each week through May 5.
