After more than 6,000 people signed an online petition, the British government has rejected pleas from their own troops stationed in Iraq to allow a dog named Sandbag and his feline friend Hesco, who have been living with military personnel at a base near Basra, to be brought back to the U.K. Downing Street issued a statement that said the pair have been handed over to American forces in Iraq.--Daily Mail
