Maybe this is Autumn's way of letting us know she's thirsty? We're glad the cat's owner, Mary Stevens (marystevens527) of Las Vegas, ran for her camera when her 7-month-old feline hopped into an empty water-bottle box. "You can usually find Autumn playing in a box or bag laying around," Stevens tells PEOPLE Pets.
Now 11 months old, Autumn makes a habit of squeezing herself into goofy things, like shoes and baskets. But even though this kitty is quick to leap into confined spaces, she's actually quite bashful by nature.
"Autumn is a very shy kitten at first, then once you bring out the toys she comes running," says Stevens. "She also plays fetch – she will bring me the toy and set it down. Then if I don't see it she will meow."
Mary, beware! We think Autumn is trying tell you something else when she jumps on top of the fish tank, another favorite spot: She's hungry!
