Police have arrested a 19-year-old for allegedly putting duct-tape around a female feline last week. Humane Law Enforcement Officers tell Fox-29 News that James Davis, who is in police custody, admitted to taping the cat because he was “annoyed.”

When a skunk in Buffalo Grove, Ill., somehow got its head stuck in a mayonnaise jar, an animal control officer was able to free it without getting sprayed by the animal. The officer “ran like heck” before the skunk could react, police reports said.–

The bad economy has affected pet cemeteries in South Florida, as more pet owners are less likely to shell out money on memorials for their beloved animals.–

Residents in Old Hickory, Tenn., are upset over the abduction of a neighborhood cat, who lived by a local drug store. Surveillance video captured a woman putting the feline into her car. Police in the area are not investigating because an owner for the cat could not be established.–
