Now here's something you don't see every day – literally! Researchers recently came across an extremely rare baby brown giant panda in the Foping Giant Panda Reserve of Shaanxi Province, China. Reportedly just the fifth of its kind ever documented in China, the 2-month-old cub has yet to open its eyes or walk. According to Reserve workers, the little one's mom is a normal black-and-white panda.

The first brown giant panda, a female named Dandan, was found in the same Reserve in 1985.
