Watch out, that coffee's hot! Lorraine van Jaarsveldt celebrated her last birthday with her mom, who treated her to a nice cappuccino, but van Jaarsveldt's parrot Harry got to it first!
Van Jaarsveldt (nina007), who lives in Knysna, South Africa, tells PEOPLEPets.com that her 10-year-old African grey parrot is famous for going with her every Saturday to Wimpy, a local restaurant chain. Harry is well-traveled: he goes everywhere with van Jaarsveldt. He also likes to eat and drink everything van Jaarsveldt does, and even eats straight from her mouth.
Van Jaarsveldt used to baby-sit Harry, until he bit his previous owners seven years ago. Harry now lives with van Jaarsveldt and her black cat Jessica, "who is a real lady. She doesn't even try to attack Harry – she is afraid of his bite!"
Most of the time, though, Harry is loving, caring and polite, van Jaarsvelt says. Well... "He also gets up to mischief. He loves chasing my mother when the mood strikes him. He is my baby!"
