It's the Obama administration's first anniversary today, and visitors to the White House got a spectacular surprise to mark the occasion! First Lady Michelle Obama greeted the very long line of tourists streaming through the residence, and the lucky guests got to get a close-up look at Bo! Wandering around receiving lots of cuddles from his new friends, the First Dog seemed to be right at home, wagging his tail happily and sniffing lots of feet!

"He's a sweet boy," Mrs. Obama told the guests, who shared stories of their own pets. "Bo is one of those friendly loveables. That's what we call him – gushy!"

At one point, when the Portuguese Water dog started licking a baby's shoe, Mrs. Obama told the little girl that "he loves little people like you!"
