Martha the Talking Dog Goes to Washington!
Talking dog Martha has been helping kids learn new vocabulary words since she got her own TV show, Martha Speaks, last year, but this Presidents Day, she'll be helping the new President in the White House. Talk about a step up!
Inspired by the Obamas and their search for a new dog, Monday's animal advocacy-themed episode will start with Martha calling the President to recommend a dog to adopt, and end with Martha meeting the new First Dog "Chessie" in the Oval Office! To check out Martha's Washington, D.C., adventures, tune into the two-part Presidents Day episode, airing Feb. 15 on PBS KIDS (check local listings).
