Thousands of viewers have been tuning into the latest in animal live-streaming: the Hummingbird Nest Cam.
The puppy cam was cute, but the hummingbird cam takes animal voyeurism to a level of gorgeousness that puppies sleeping on towels in a pen couldn't quite achieve. It's racked up 1.4 million views and, depending on the time of day, has a few thousand followers staring at a little bird in her nest.
Her name is Phoebe. She lives in California. She is a Channel Island Allen hummingbird and she has been on the Internet since 2007.
Phoebe has iridescent green and turquoise feathers and two cocoa powder-colored wings that seem like a long necklace draped down her back, a flare of red and orange on her chest, blinking black eyes, and she sits on a pale nest over two creamy eggs, surrounded by rose bushes.
All the noise from the comments on the side? You can just ignore that and find serenity in the bird. It's nature at its most exquisite.
